Channel Partner Programs Manager

What an Channel Partner Programs Manager does at HP:

Responsible for directing the development of value propositions, integrated solution offerings, and market positioning with partners, nurturing strategic relationships, and optimizing partnerships.

  • Leading efforts to acquire new customers and expand business through partner channels, leading training and sales support, creating and executing Channel Partner Programs, and supporting management of partner market development funds.
  • Being the experts on all elements of partner compensation. Providing Sales and partners with training to maximize margin and growth opportunities within the HP's Amplify program.
  • Directs development of messaging and content frameworks and contributes to complex projects while building productive relationships.

Drive program competitiveness against market/country & industry standard & to establish being the pioneer of the program initiative launch.

Engage with WW program owners to understand the changes/updates to the compensation framework if any & assess the markets/countries readiness.

Perform Financial simulation where required based on program changes or new programs being introduced.

Obtain program sign off from Category/Sales/finance for any changes including rebate rate offerings.

Engagement with WW on any WW program comp changes or additional boosters needed by business team.

Work with agency and/or Sales Ops for program support/execution.

Communicate any program framework changes to countries.

Review of program ROI with the channel sales/category team.

Directs development of value proposition, integrated solution offering and market positioning to/with/through partner and successfully launches solution in the market.

Leads efforts to onboard new strategic partners and continuously optimize existing partnerships.

Leads creation and execution of marketing programs and solutions with partners, driving demand and incremental revenue for organization’s offerings.

Directs development of messaging and content framework for partner programs.

Develops and builds productive internal/external working relationships and provides mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in marketing, partner, sales, industry, channel , or a related field.
  • Knowledge & Skills: Agile Methodology, Business Development, Business Marketing, Business Strategies, Business To Business.
  • Channel Management, Channel Sales.
  • Demand Generation, Digital Marketing, Go-to-Market Strategy, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Marketing, Marketing Communications, Marketing Management, Marketing Strategies.
  • New Product Development, Product Management, Product Marketing.
  • Salesforce, Social Media.
  • Cross-Org Skills: Effective Communication, Results Orientation, Learning Agility, Digital Fluency, customer Centricity
