Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and flexible long-term substitute teacher to join St. Genevieve Catholic School for the 2025–2026 school year. This role will begin as a first-grade long-term substitute position. Beginning in November, the position will transition to supporting our Early Childhood Academy (ECA), working with 3-, 4-, and 5-year-old students through both pull-out

and push-in instructional support.

Travel Required: No

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a long-term substitute for 1st grade classroom instruction, providing engaging

and developmentally appropriate lessons.

  • Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that fosters academic, social,

and emotional growth.

  • Collaborate with grade-level colleagues and administration to follow curriculum, routines,

and school policies.

  • Transition in November to a support role for the Early Childhood Academy (ECA) 3-, 4-,

and 5-year-old programs.

  • Provide individualized or small-group instruction through pull-out and push-in support.
  • Assist lead teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate activities and

interventions.

  • Support the social, emotional, and academic development of early learners.
  • Maintain clear communication with teachers, staff, and administration.
  • Uphold the mission and values of St. Genevieve Catholic School.

Scheduled Hours:

  • Monday–Friday, 7:45 a.m.–3:15 p.m. (35 hours per week)

This position has a salary of $36,500.00. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on many factors including but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
