What You Can Expect

Responsible for driving the implementation of the sales strategy across the Territory by providing strong leadership, selling direction, accountability, and business planning to deliver results and market share growth through others. This position will partner across internal business functions and customers to develop and execute solutions that build sustainable sales results and growth.

  • Create and deliver strategic sales business plans for the Territory by gathering market intelligence for tactical decision making.
  • Work in collaboration with internal business functions and ensuring alignment with priorities, KPI’s and targeted growth opportunity.
  • Ensure the achievement of all sales, market share growth and financial business targets through effective leadership, strategic planning and partnering with Marketing to ensure accurate forecasting.
  • Create a culture of Commercial Excellence and Sales Force Excellence with a focus to win and grow market share across the portfolio.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to communicate sales performance metrics.
  • Assist in sales forecasting by analyzing historical data and market trends.
  • Contribute to the development of sales plans and strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Build and maintain excellent customer, colleague, key stakeholders and thought leader relationships.
  • Optimise territory design and integrate customer centric data with segmentation into territories.
  • Monitor sales delivery, profit margins, market share and targets whilst analyzing revenue growth to determine strategic planning and accurate sales forecasting.
  • Identify and implement innovative customer centric solutions to proactively recognise market trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Effectively complete and provide sales reporting and develop budgets in collaboration with Commercial Excellence
  • Lead the Territory Sales Team with vision, nurturing talent, coaching for performance and addressing any performance concerns proactively.
  • Be an agile, facilitator of change, innovating, leading and engaging as a role model with Company change programmes.
  • Support Zimmer Biomet in introducing, embedding and continuing best and preferred place to work practices to be a destination workplace.
  • Be a trusted partner to key stakeholders.
  • Be a top performer in terms of total shareholder return.
  • Collaborate with peers across Zimmer Biomet to identify learnings, best practice and foster team spirit.
  • Represent the Company in the highest professional manner and always adhere to Company policies.
  • Strictly adhere to all laws and Zimmer Biomet policies and SOPs regarding the interaction with HCP’s (Health Care Professionals), product handling and complaints, expense reporting, sales activities and training.

Your Background

  • Preferably business degree or equivalent with 5-8 years business experience
  • Proven track record in the health care sector, with exceptional capabilities to drive sales
  • Strong networking capabilities and sound business acumen to identify, plan, and execute on sales opportunities.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data manipulation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability in launching new products, developing and promoting successful sales and market share growth strategy.
  • Demonstrated continual achievement of Sales target in Orthopedics Sales
  • Minimum strong performer grading in recent performance review (internal candidates only) 
  • Knowledge of designated region, hospitals & relevant hospital personnel.

Travel Expectations

  • Regular co-travel with Sales Team
  • Occasional National and International travel as required.
