Merchant Services is the global payment processing business for JPMorgan Chase & Co processing over $2.2 Trillion in annual transaction volume. Merchant Services is a leading providers of payment, fraud, and data security for companies of all sizes and is engaging in a multi-year international expansion, platform modernization. The candidate is a strategic and analytical leader and is passionate about delivering solutions to clients. The candidate should have experience facilitating and influencing product, sales, and technology transformations. The candidate should possess an understanding of how corporations leverage payments and fintech services to manage and grow their business. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Developing a deep understanding of the merchant payments and technology landscape, and unique industry-specific challenges, regulations, and expectations. 
  • Craft strategies that unearth opportunities to create and capture customer value, and develop a consistent industry strategy to help scale our business. This includes defining and supporting awareness through marketing initiatives including conferences, trade shows, seminars, and web seminars

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills: 

  • Collaborate with alliance and partner teams to build and develop key relationships with solution and implementation partners in global corporate sector
  • Design and interpret key performance metrics; develop and act on plans to address identified weaknesses
  • Develop collateral and assets, and brief internal/external executives on a regular basis
  • Build and motivate partnerships development professionals to expand merchant coverage in India, through numerous channels including optimizing vendor management business. 
  • Establish focus areas to Merchant Services success while defining and executing ambitious business plans.
  • Liaise with regional and global Product and cross-functional teams to define an business generation strategy with merchants and drive the go-to-market narrative. Bridge partner insights, analytics, product, and platforms and deliver scalable strategies for payments.
  • Gain and maintain industry presence as an influential representative in the market while executing against strategies and account plans. Contribute strategically to the growth of JPMCs' products and services
  • Establish and lead complex strategic market activities

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of strategy, product management or business development experience
  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
  • Experience in the digital space to drive support of strategic initiatives across the business
  • Experience driving parts of large-scale transformations; Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Experience effectively communicating complex concepts to senior leadership while clearly identify critical actions and decision points to support strategic objectives
  • Experience identifying, structuring, and executing own large-scale programs aligned to program and roadmap measurable objectives
