We are looking for an ambitious, strategic, and creative professional to join our team in India as a marketing manager. In this role, you will implement corporate marketing strategies and develop market-specific marketing strategies, ensuring that messages and experiences across digital and tangible customer and Associate interaction points support product sales, retention efforts, and Associate and customer enrollments. This position also emphasizes a significant focus on Digital expertise, Above The Line (ATL) and Below The Line (BTL) activities, Public Relations (PR), USANA Foundation work, and new product launch campaign planning. 

What You Will Do as a USANA Marketing Manager 

Essential 

  • Develop and prepare marketing initiatives as per strategic direction to increase sales, retention, or enrollments, and effectively collaborate and communicate with all internal stakeholders and the USANA corporate office.
  • Responsible for the execution of corporate marketing strategies and in-market marketing initiatives to drive sales momentum, customer acquisition, retention, and brand awareness.
  • Leverage Digital Marketing expertise, including Google Analytics, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), and retargeting campaigns, to enhance online presence and effectiveness.
  • Execute ATL & BTL activities to increase brand visibility through special events, promotions, sponsorships and collaborations.
  • Foray into the area of PR & USANA Foundation to enhance brand awareness and community engagement.
  • Plan and manage new product launch campaigns, including marketing research & insights, photoshoots & creative planning, and standardized communications to the sales force via multiple platforms, including emails, WhatsApp, etc.
  • Responsible for market-specific communications, including content creation, and the review of corporate communications.
  • Work closely with the USANA corporate office as needed and local marketing, sales, and customer service teams to develop strong in-market sales product training to support the launch of new products and other needed business initiatives.
  • Support the Sales team in execution of sales activities, events, contests, and promotions.
  • Support the sales team in product launch planning and market research.
  • Work closely with USANA corporate office Brand and Studios teams to align with branding standards and ensure local market compliance.
  • Oversee the overall budget for the marketing department.
  • Provide in-depth pre- and post-analysis and progress on product promotions and campaigns. Offer suggestions for future improvements.
  • Provide insight to Sales & Marketing Director and Sales team on market trends, industry, and the competitive landscape and offer suggestions for future improvements to the business.
  • Fully understand product claim restrictions and work closely with Ethics team on digital & social media content creation to coordinate the review process.
  • Partner with Operations Manager to manage and forecast products, logo merchandise, and sales tools inventories as needed.
  • Provide training to employees to aid in understanding the value of marketing initiatives and handling frequently asked questions.
  • Handle product-related technical inquiries from Associates, end consumers, and staff.
  • Able to work 360-degree role.

Additional 

  • Participate as a core member of the management team.
  • Maintain high degree of confidentiality.
  • Build good working relationships with functional teams, both in-market and globally.
  • Advocate better communication among staff & Associates.
  • Be able to travel domestically and internationally on weekends and nights as required at company/Associate events.
  • Perform other duties or ad hoc projects as assigned or needed.

Background and Skills You Will Need 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Nutrition and/or Food Science, health sciences, or related field. MBA/PGDBM will be preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, of which 2 years at managerial/supervisory level
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken of English.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, especially in PowerPoint, with added emphasis on digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics and SEO.
  • Pleasant, outgoing with good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Well-organized, articulate, hands-on, and results oriented.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Possess a mature attitude and is a good team player.
  • Must be detail-oriented, have good organization skills, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Should be ready to participate and work in the startup culture, multi-tasking is required.
