We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to lead all financial forecasting, product pricing, cost modeling, and investment/M&A evaluations. You hold a degree in Finance or Accounting followed by relevant work experience. You possess deep knowledge of forecasting models, pricing concepts,  and cost accounting processes. You will ensure our financial planning is healthy and profitable and aligns with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop financial models through benchmarking and process analysis
  • Forecast quarterly and annual profits
  • Prepare cost projections
  • Analyze and report on current financial status
  • Conduct thorough research of historical financial data
  • Explore investment options and present risk and opportunities
  • Coordinate with the VP of Business Operations and the executive team on long-term financial planning
  • Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement
  • Participate in budgeting (for departments and projects)
  • Review accounting transactions for data accuracy
  • Establish financial policies
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions
  • Partner with the business on evaluating expenditure and customer contracts
  • Develop market analysis and product pricing
  • Participate in evaluation of any M&A activity

Within 3 months you will:

  • Work with all the business division and projects to finalize the annual forecast of revenues and costs
  • Develop product pricing and associated COGS for newly commercialized products and services
  • Develop financial support and data for the board packages
  • Develop model and process to report actual performance against forecast

Within 6 months you will:

  • Propose and implement forecasting software and process for future business cycles
  • Develop a three year financial strategic plan for the company
  • Partner with the business divisions/projects to support achievement of the financial plans

Within 12 months you will:

  • Develop competitor pricing and analysis for products
  • Fully launched a robust bottoms-up forecasting process for the company
  • Meet all needs for expansion of product line and commercialization of services

Required:

  • Proven work experience as a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Analyst or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with financial and statistical software
  • Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas) and exposure to Google Sheets
  • Familiarity with finance databases
  • Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP)
  • Sound accounting knowledge
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts
  • Demonstrable strategic thinking skills
  • Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information
  • BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics

Desired:

  • MBA or Masters in Business/Finance or Accounting
  • Experience in manufacturing company
