About this role:

TP&A is an internal consulting and operational team that partners with both Gartner’s Sales and Services leaders to determine how the company should direct its substantial investment in incremental sales and service professionals. The role will collaborate with Services leaders to guide strategic alignment, process efficiency and improvement and go-to-market decisions at regional and global levels. The position reports to the Team Lead of Territory Planning & Analytics for Services and is ultimately part of the Global Sales Strategy & Operations (GSSO).

What you will do:

  • Partner with Gartner’s Sales & Services leaders to support new & existing Service alignment requests across multiple business units.
  • Establish best practices for various territory alignment processes to support process excellence with desired quality, accuracy and timeliness.
  • Lead Issue Resolution project in TP&A by proactively identifying, resolving various types of critical issues (data, process, system), and communicating to stakeholders.
  • Define problem-statement and conduct root-cause analysis to understand the underlying reasons behind recurring or significant issues, and drive mitigation or resolution plan.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as IT, Service Analytics, License Management and Order Management Teams etc. to problem-solve, and support issue resolution for TP&A.
  • Act as the subject matter expert who holds in-depth functional & process knowledge along with demonstrated strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analyse, own and execute existing and future opportunities for TP&A to implement process improvements that improve productivity and align with Service Alignment Strategy.
  • Conduct structured analysis and visualization of large data to identify trends in KPIs and create weekly/monthly reporting to support strategic alignment decisions taken by TP&A leadership at various levels.
  • Own and execute end-to-end high priority operational projects of TP&A.
  • Drive ad hoc analyses to facilitate decision-making for Gartner’s Services leaders and C-level executives.
  • Create SOPs, roadmaps, project timelines of TP&A processes and strategic priorities.
  • Lead onboarding and training the new members of the team across all the processes; work closely with several groups of service associates at once and support them in problem-solving and resolving issues.

What you’ll need:

  • 3-5 years of management consulting or business analysis & operations experience required.
  • Post-graduation in management and business administration preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, including high proficiency with Microsoft Excel, data analysis, etc.
  • Relevant experience in process management and PMO.
  • Excellent PowerPoint presentation and advanced excel skills. Knowledge of python, Power BI will be a plus.
  • Strong command over understanding data and business context.
  • Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills to enable direct and frequent conversations with senior leaders in Gartner.
  • Excellent stakeholder presence and ability to convey insights in a group meeting.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and independently own project from start to finish.
  • Mentor new hires and help team members in ramp up process.
