Luxury Residential Interior Architect

We are looking for an Interior Architect to join the Harrods Interior Design team to work with our central London clients. Ours is a multidisciplinary practice committed to delivering exceptional interiors at the highest level of creative expression within the luxury residential field. 

About the Role

As a Midweight-level Interior Architect reporting into the Senior Project Manager, you’ll assist in delivering a wide range of luxury residential projects. You will assist the Senior Designers and be capable of independently running small to medium sized projects yourself. Duties will include full site measurements, co-ordinating sub-contractors, producing detailed design intent information including 1:20 plans, elevations and RCP, schedules and associated project documents.

You will develop high standard design intent drawing, work on FF&E schedules, deliver mood boards and carry out detailed and accurate drawing packages. You will also work closely with procurement team, monitor budgets, create and maintain the installation schedule for each project and carry out site and supplier visits to ensure high standards. Finally, you will perform snagging reports and efficient recording of information.

About you

As a Luxury Residential Interior Architect, ideally with a degree in Interior Design or Architecture (or equivalent work experience), you will have previous experience working on projects in London with a good knowledge of the market. You’ll possess great knowledge of Interior Architecture & Design as well as FF&E products, finishes, their fabrication techniques and operational applications.

You will also:

  • Be confident managing stakeholder relationships
  • Be confident in using Adobe, AutoCAD and SketchUp
  • Be flexible and willing to adapt to changing priorities
  • Be able to demonstrate a clear team-working mentality.
  • Possess not only design flair and creativity, you will also have excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
