About the Team

At Workday, we have an exciting opportunity for a driven and inspiring leader to lead our talented ASEAN Corporate Sales Development (SDR & BDR) team based in Singapore.

In addition to being an exceptional leader and developer of talent, the CSD Manager will support their team to deliver high-quality pipeline to meet sales growth targets while creating a fun, progressive and outcome focused team culture. This team will be the heart of ASEAN Workday’s demand generation and business development activities. The CSD Manager reports directly to the APJ CSD Director and is part of an amazing global team of like minded, talented and driven demand generation team.

Leadership and the ability to energize and motivate this team will be key. Very strong people manager skills are also required to coach, and lead this team to success.

About the Role

Your role as the ASEAN CSD Manager will develop and deliver upon the CSD Go-to-Market (GTM) plan with alignment to the region's Field Sales strategy focusing on market coverage optimization, maximizing demand generation, driving key industry penetration and focused solutions expansion to achieve quarterly pipeline generation targets and accurately forecasts quarterly pipeline metrics. You will also proactively drive the business management cadence across the key activities, metrics and outcomes required to drive consistent and predictable performance. This role also partners with Marketing, Field Sales, Sales Support and Sales Operations to ensure tight operating interlock and high levels of stakeholder engagement. 

As a people manager, you will also lead, manage and develop a team of amazingly talented business development professionals. This will include hiring, coaching, mentoring, managing performance and successfully helping the team to success in role and onto future successes.

About You

What we are looking for

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong people management skills in coaching, driving performance, and developing talents
  • Strong communication capabilities with senior stakeholders in Sales, Marketing and Sales Operations
  • In depth knowledge of Salesforce.com and Outreach required
  • Recent successful experience and proven ability to develop a prospect pipeline via high volume outbound prospecting and engaging business executives in an enterprise software sales environment
  • Deep understanding of business processes
  • Solid knowledge of demand generation processes, Marketing planning & pipeline building
  • Experience working closely with Sales Operations and Marketing supporting Field Marketing activities within the territory, including webinars, trade shows, and demand generation campaigns 
  • Experience in designing and implementing operational processes to optimize the return of marketing campaigns through an effective follow up
  • Strong Analytics Capabilities - Experience doing data analysis, modelling, and/or financial analysis to support or drive business decisions
