The Opportunity

This position works out of our Mississauga office in the D iabetes Care division.

We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.

As the Senior Manager, Consumer & CRM Marketing, you’ll have the chance to define Consumer and CRM strategy based on customer insights and market in alignment with the marketing communication strategy and company objectives in conjunction with the Marketing Director.

What You’ll Do

  • Create the overarching CRM, and Consumer strategy for the organization in terms of customer retention, acquisition, churn and revenue, in consultation with General Manager and in line with business objectives and marketing strategy taking into account current and future customer requirements and operational needs.
  • Participate in the preparation of Annual Plan and quarterly updates.
  • Ensure planning, initiation, monitoring of CRM and Consumer programs according to defined strategic goals and objectives.
  • Ensure leadership, management and continuous innovation of CRM programs (integrated multi-channel communication, customer centricity, closed loop marketing, business intelligence) by setting up and implementing tactics, structures, processes, technology according to modern CRM standards that maximize customer intimacy & loyalty in order to strengthen ADC’s leading market position and image.
  • Budgetary responsibility for CRM, Consumer (TV, digital, social) and Website budget ensuring they are maintained within spending limits.
  • Define, manage and track marketing strategy and promotional plan for the Consumer and CRM channels (DTC, Digital, Social strategies).
  • Interact with external partners such as Creative agency, Media agency, Digital Marketing firms and internal resources (local and international).

Required Qualifications

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 8+ years of experience in consumer marketing, advertising, PR, online marketing or similar field.
  • Product management experience.
  • Experience in leading CRM strategy.
  • Deep understanding and passionate for the CRM, social media environment, blogging and community participation. Realizes the power of these as part of the marketing mix.
  • Demonstrated ability to map out a marketing strategy and drive that strategy proven by testing and metrics.
  • Excels at research, possesses excellent writing skills and the ability to build editorial content and technical writing.
  • Experience sourcing and managing content development.
  • Ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side.
  • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment.
  • Is eager to meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to communicate results to management and in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience in CRM and/or product management.
  • Possess strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Independent thinking and problem solving.
