Is the main HR interface and focal point for employees who are relocating to an international assignment location. Provides a broad range of HR services related to the end-to-end Bechtel Global Mobility Center (BGMC) functions. Prepares and explains assignment and new hire documentation including employment offer letters, recitals and expected take home pay calculation, in accordance with policies and approved assignment conditions.
Coordinates and manages service providers for household effects shipment and storage, Pre-assignment Medical, Passport, Visa/Immigration, and other vendors as applicable. Manages receipt of applicable documents, submittals, and monitoring of processes to gain assignment mobilization clearance. Explains Assignment expense report reimbursement processing and policies.
Coordinates assignment travel details and notifications to project or receiving organization for local destination services and arrival arrangements. Interfaces with other teams as appropriate such as; Expatriate Tax, HR Input, Benefits, Domestic and International payroll, Security, Expense Management etc.
Continuously updates mobility management software throughout the assignment process, for tracking and status updates as required. Assists with Six Sigma and other work process improvement initiatives in the collection of data as required.
Audits recitals to ensure quality and tracks Recital Quality Metrics.
Manages BGMC metrics to ensure critical activities are completed in a timely manner.
Identifies process improvements and supports process improvement initiatives as directed by supervisor.
Ability to work overtime on short notice
