Crafco, Inc. has an opening for a Training Development Specialist at our Corporate Headquarters in Chandler, AZ

This position is responsible for the creation, facilitation, implementation, administration, and evaluation of various training & development functions including: new hire training, technical and role-specific training, soft skills and leadership development programs and training, web-based training and LMS management, and other learning and development needs that support the Organizational Development department. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, with a minimum of five years' experience in training facilitation, instructional design, and talent development. CPTD, Master Trainer, or Instructional Design certification preferred.

Specific Duties include:

  • Works with Director of Organizational Development and internal business partners to develop and execute all learning and development strategies and programs to elevate the Crafco brand and employee performance.
  • Leads the facilitation of all internal and external training programs and meetings including but not limited to: new hire training, product knowledge training, role-specific training, soft skills training, compliance training, and leadership and/or development trainings.
  • Creates, maintains and continually improves all product knowledge, compliance, and leadership development trainings and programs to support the strategic initiatives of the organization.
  • Creates, maintains and continually improves learning programs across the organization including internal employee training and learning resources for Crafco's Distributor network and/or end-users.
  • Create innovative training programs, modules, videos, e-learning and other instructional materials to meet the needs of internal and external audiences.
  • Develops and manages all proprietary web-based, and live-instructor led training and content.
  • Administration of the company LMS for accuracy of employee records, training content, and reporting.
  • Design, develop, customize, update, and deliver quality presentations and training materials including, live training (virtual and in person), job aids, workbooks, reference guides, videos, e-learning etc.
  • Responsible for strategically collecting and organizing the experiential knowledge of critical positions throughout the organization into documented learning resources for knowledge transfer across the organization.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of training programs, develop success criteria, and monitor reports/data to make recommendations for improvement.
  • Proactively seek avenues for improving training, including method of delivery, a mix of media, organization, and structure of information.
  • Follow branding guidelines and standards to ensure content is professional and consistent with corporate look and feel.
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with internal business partners, customers, distributors, and vendors.
  • Exhibit integrity and the ability to act with professionalism, discretion, and compliance in all matters and with all information.
  • Attentive to the value of staying under budget while ensuring program specifications are effectively met or exceeded.
  • Develops all programs with global awareness and respect for diversity.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communication or related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • CPTD, ATD Master Trainer, or Talent Development certification desired, but not required.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in corporate training facilitation, instructional design, and/or talent development.
  • Computer proficiency: MS Office application, Learning Management Systems, SCORM and/or other web-based training files and software.
  • Display attention to detail and accuracy of information.
  • Be resourceful with ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Desire and willingness to learn new things.
  • Display and encourage a positive attitude.
  • Show ability to problem solve and propose solutions.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, and with teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to travel locally, and occasional air travel (a few trips per year).
