Vocera, now a part of Stryker, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Sr Manager, Sales Operations to lead the Sales Operations and Order Management teams. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a proven track record of driving operational excellence within sales organizations. This role is critical in ensuring the alignment of sales processes, tools, and analytics to drive revenue growth and enhance overall sales effectiveness.

What you will do:

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement sales strategies that align with overall business objectives.
  • Develop a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategy.
  • Lead the annual sales planning processes to establish targets, quotas, and territory assignments.
  • Work closely with sales leadership and sales representative to identify key accounts, prioritize opportunities, and allocate resources appropriately.
  • Implement robust forecasting processes to provide accurate and timely revenue and orders projections.
  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership on performance against revenue and orders targets.

Sales Process Optimization:

  • Analyze and optimize end-to-end sales processes, identifying areas for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness, while incorporating input from key stakeholder groups, such as Marketing, Finance, and Legal.
  • Implement best practices to streamline lead-to-close processes and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Oversee the end-to-end order management process, from order entry to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.

Sales Analytics and Reporting:

  • Develop and maintain robust sales analytics, reporting, and forecasting mechanisms to provide insights into sales performance and trends.
  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership on performance against revenue and orders targets.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to guide decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure the effective use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to track customer opportunity creation through closure.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Finance, Customer Excellence, R&D, IT, and Legal, to ensure alignment and collaboration on business initiatives.
  • Build and lead a high-performing Order Management and Sales Operations team.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and development opportunities to team members.

What you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of Work Experience in a relevant field, such as Sales Operations, Finance, etc..
  • 5 years of People Management experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior sales operations role, preferably within a technology or healthcare-related industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com CRM and SAP ERP systems preferred.

$112,000- $239,900 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 10%
