We're hiring for a part-time position on our amazing and super friendly Customer Care team! On our team you'll have the opportunity to interact with our various business teams including logistics, culinary, marketing, engineering and several others.

M-F
10-2pm EST

About Us

Munchery cooks and delivers chef prepared meals in our New York-based kitchen in West Village. We’re a mix of food-loving techies and tech-loving foodies who believe everyone deserves real food, so we work hard to make eating well as easy as possible.  We are looking for a food safety technician to join us, working alongside our kitchen team to ensure the highest safety standards are maintained on a day-to-day basis.

 

What You'll Do

  • Problem solve customer issues to ensure best possible experience with the Munchery product
  • Be the Brand Ambassador, promoting Munchery’s vision in all customer interactions
  • Respond to incoming phone calls and live­ chats with urgency
  • Provide positive resolutions to customer complaints, following established protocol for retention purposes
  • Communicate with city operations to identify and resolve fulfillment issues
  • Prioritize email or other correspondence for potential issues and time sensitive customer requests, taking direction from managers and leads
  • Navigate ordering and inventory systems and adjusting customer accounts and orders as needed
  • Provide technical support to customers during ordering process
  • Adjust customer orders as requested
  • Report culinary and fulfillment issues using incident tracking tools
  • Escalate major issues to the appropriate management teams
  • Report technical issues to engineering and product teams
  • Communicate with team and leads to identify trends and larger issues
  • Maintain knowledge of Munchery product offerings and operational standards
  • Have friendly tone and demeanor throughout all customer communications
  • Approach all customer situations with patience and diffuse tense situations
  • Maintain professionalism while engaging with customers
  • Problem solving customer issues to ensure best possible experience with the Munchery product
  • Adhere to schedule to ensure customers have access to support
  • Respond to incoming correspondence and customer inquiries and provide customers consistent positive interaction with the Munchery brand
  • Provide customers with information on product offerings, including specific culinary information
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 10-2pm

What You'll Bring

  • 1­-2 years in a customer service or administrative role
  • Excellent understanding of customer experience standards and guidelines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Integrity Punctuality & regular, reliable attendance
  • Have friendly tone and demeanor throughout all customer communications
  • Approach all customer situations with patience and diffuse tense situations
  • Maintain professionalism while engaging with customers
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem solving & issue resolution skills Initiative & follow through
  • Working knowledge of various operating systems and software products including Google Docs, MS Office, etc.

What Would be Great

  • CRM or ticketing software experience a plus
  • Experience or familiarity with a professional, office setting
  • A bachelor's degree
