Specialist Software Development

The Specialist Software Development job programs and configures software to meet business needs. Under limited supervision, this job identifies and analyzes business software needs, writes complex code to optimize the performance and efficiency of the organization's information technology (IT) platform/infrastructure and conducts testing to ensure programs are functioning properly. This job is considered a subject matter expert in the applications development and support area.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Interprets written business requirements and technical specification documents to design and develop advanced technical solutions that meet business needs in financial industry.
  • Collaborates with information technology (IT) and business partners to design, develop, and troubleshoot end-to-end technical solutions.
  • Performs complex coding to written technical specifications.

This role would be responsible for driving the end-to-end implementation (design and development) of the CRM application. This role would be a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and a key change agent driving the transformation of the platform to service business goals driving efficiencies and insights.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

Technical

  • Strong work experience in SFDC configuration, customization, programming with APEX Classes / Triggers / APIs, Visual Force, Triggers, Flows, SOQL, SOSL and implementing new instances of Salesforce.com application from scratch.
  • Strong hand on experience in Lightning component development, Lightning design development, Lightning Web Component.
  • Hands-on experience in administration setup, e.g., managing users, security controls, and data as well as creating roles, profiles, and reports
  • Experience in designing custom objects, custom fields, picklists, page layouts, workflow, approval processes, validation rules, custom tabs, reports, Visualforce pages, dashboards, and Email generation according to application requirements.
  • Strong experience in developing integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST, SOAP APIs, oAuth and Single Sign-On
  • Hands on experience on Salesforce Integration Services. Strong Knowledge of consuming API
  • Strong experience in developing end-to-end Salesforce solutions using configuration and customization using APEX Classes, Triggers, Lightning flows and Lightning components.
  • Solid understanding of Apex Best Practices for Custom Development Knowledge of programming technologies such as HTML, JavaScript.
  • Good work experience in Reports and Dashboards.

Good to have following additional Skills:

  • Hands on experience on Salesforce Analytics and Reporting solutions. Strong knowledge of analytics platforms (Einstein Analytics etc.)
  • Experience in CI\CD and deployment tools. Should be able to streamline deployment process.
  • Experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
  • Experience in SAFe, JIRA, HP ALM.

  • Work with stakeholders and solution architects to identify reasonable migration paths from the current state to target architectures
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and solution owners to understand business requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions
  • Work closely with various teams (Business, Development, Infrastructure) to define and implement elegant, scalable and sustainable technical solutions using the Salesforce technologies, with a focus on adhering to industry standards, best practices and code quality techniques

  • Lead a world-class team of experienced engineering and delivery experts within technology, data and business intelligence

  • Set the priorities and focus for local and regional teams to support global engineering and delivery of core internal and client products and services.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Min 8 – 10 years in developing technology solutions.
  • Salesforce/Apex, Triggers, Lightning Flows, Lightning, LWC, and experience with modern web and mobile technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Components, others)
  • Salesforce Certification Preferred (Admin, Developer, Sales, and Service Cloud, OmniStudio Developer/Consultant)
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders and provide consultation on Salesforce solutions
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to give optimal solutions.
  • Experience in Agile delivery methodology.
  • Keep up to date with the latest plans, developments, and changes in the salesforce platform.
  • Master’s\Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (engineering or computer science or engineering discipline)
  • Experience in Einstein Analytics (Good to have).
  • Experience in Omnistudio/FSC cloud (Good to have)
