Supplier Quality Manager in Project

As a Supplier Quality Manager in Project, you are the Supplier Quality Management Representative in the Project team from the quotation phase until the project targets of the manufacturing location(s) are achieved.

Your activities will include to:
Ensure Maturity Evaluation availability and updates from project team;
Support in-time sourcing and guarantee Sourcing Decision signature;
Guarantee in-time releases of new components;
Ensure early involvement of SQM and suppliers;
Guarantee the nomination of the SQM responsible for each new component;
Guarantee the availability of the work products for all the relevant components;
Regular Review of Component Introduction Status;
Initiate corrective actions in case the project schedule can’t be met;
Escalation in case quality requirements of components or component introduction schedule can’t be met;
Provide regular reports to SQM Management.

The role of the SQM Project includes both managing and quality engineering activities, having a major responsibility for the quality of the supplied components.

A mentor will support you to stepwise take over responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes, and organization.
Job Requirements Technical education
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Quality function and/or in Project Management
Experience in automotive industry and standards
Quality related methodologies and standards (e.g. FMEA, Review, 8D, 5Why,PPAP, Problem solving techniques);
Working in & coordination of international teams;
Initiative and drive;
Analytical & organizational skills;
Communication and presentation skills.
