The Director US Consumer Marketing, dupilumab pediatric atopic dermatitis (AD) will be responsible for helping lead the development, execution and measurement of all key marketing strategies and tactics to support the successful launch of the pediatric indication.

Key responsibilities start with developing an intimate and thorough understanding of core patient needs to inform and guide all aspects of patient engagement. This core understanding should be reflected in consumer unbranded and branded communication campaigns as well as through robust Customer Relationship Management (CRM) activities and other patient support programs. Additionally, the Director will ensure that all key strategies and activities are aligned with HCP, patient service programs and payer efforts and broader portfolio priorities.

In addition to prerequisite experience, technical knowledge and skills, the Director must have an ability to collaborate and lead in a complex, hybrid organizational environment. This applies within the US and Global Sanofi commercial & medical structures, as well as across the broader Alliance with our Joint Venture partner, Regeneron.

The Director position will report to the Head of Dermatology Marketing, and will work closely with the head of Consumer Marketing for the adult indication.


  • Work with market research to develop and execute research needed to validate programs, inform investment decisions and ongoing KPI measurement.
  • Collaborate and lead key agency/vendor relationships to ensure delivery of robust pediatric consumer marketing strategies and tactics
  • Partner with Corporate Communications to develop and integrate public relations activities
  • Enhance outside partner relationships, including patient advocacy organizations, to ensure integration and continuity of all consumer facing activities 
  • Manage the internal legal, regulatory, and medical review and approval of all pediatric consumer communications materials.
  • Manage budgets and closely monitor performance in order to ensure cost effective delivery of all pediatric programs
  • Drive internal and Alliance stakeholder alignment, and develop strong relationships with cross-functional teams that support the brand

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum Level of Job-Related Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Successful track record in pharmaceutical marketing with 10+ years relevant experience with increasing job responsibilities.
  • Product launch experience is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or other graduate level degree preferred
  • Specialty/biologics and/or dermatology expertise is preferred
  • Candidates must possess the ability to proactively analyze business problems, identify key issues, develop strategic solutions, implement tactical programs, and design metrics to measure business impact.
  • Individual must possess the ability to build consensus in a matrix environment with multiple functional groups supporting the brand team.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30%.
