Essential Responsibilities

- Provide direct support and leadership to plant manager for all manufacturing financial information 

- Lead factory transformation and growth by meeting the manufacturing target and operating budget 
- Lead finance operations & planning inclusive of GE planning & reporting cycle 
- Execute financial metrics for product volumes, provide forecasting and drive “say-do” financial results. 
- Track JIT operations in handling inventory & optimizing cash 
- Implement plant operating metrics (KPI’s) such as % Direct Labor, productivity, quality, inventory, cash, and environmental health and safety metrics 
- Track Actual Manufacturing Hours vs. Plan, variance analysis and corrective action 
- Lead site variable & base cost out actions and drive financial accountability for cost 
- Drive competitive Operating Cost per Hour (OCPH) to compete in global market 
- Manage and track P&E investment/site expansion 
- Develop leasing initiatives with GE Capital or other financial institutions for cash optimization 
- Manage team of financial analysts supporting all financial activities for the operating team 
- Work with Controller to oversee Balance Sheet and lead annual physical inventory tracking 
- Work with Controller to perform quarterly closing activities 
- Support integration activities 
- Take the lead in Value Stream Mapping (VSM) from finance perspective for factory efficiency 
- Drive Sourcing initiatives to meet working capital, inventory and cash commits

Role Summary/Purpose

The Manufacturing Supply Chain Finance analyst will provide strategic and financial support to the Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) Supply Chain operations team in Gas Power Systems (GPS) at the Dung Quat (Vietnam) manufacturing plant. With the plant manager and operating team, you will develop and execute strategic financial manufacturing & sourcing objectives and drive optimized cost/profitability of the HRSG products as you deliver on growth and synergy commitments for the GPS business.


Degree in Accounting/Economics/Finance from an accredited college or 

of seven years of experience in Supply Chain Finance leadership position or ten
years in other Finance/FP&A positions

- Experience with manufacturing operations and financial function 

- Experience with sourcing/procurement activities for main power plant components and systems 
- Skilled in leadership of teams and managing priorities to a successful outcome 
- Strong track record of developing & measuring production & supply chain commitments. 
- Knowledge of HRSG components and systems and the associated supply base a plus 
- Experience in building a culture of transparency, speed and collaboration 
- Connects with people, empathetic, listens 
- Creative problem solver, passion for delivering on commitments 
- Embraces new technology and simplification as a means to drive productivity and speed
