Bose is looking for a seasoned PR professional with product and tech PR experience to help drive critical product launches and seek continuous storytelling opportunities with top-tier media. The Sr. Product PR Manager will partner closely with the marketing and product teams to develop and deliver comprehensive, results-driven PR programs that support Bose’s corporate narrative and brand PR strategy.

Work location: Remote in New York, NY or Hybrid in Framingham, MA.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop a strong working knowledge of the Bose CE and Automotive business including key products and technologies, competitive landscape, key trends, and sales and marketing priorities to inform the PR strategy.
  • Collaborate across the organization to stay appraised of key programs and initiatives to inform editorial opportunities and support the broader PR strategy.
  • Lead and implement PR programs that highlight key Bose products, technologies and product partnerships in order to drive editorial results that strengthen Bose’s leadership in the CE and Automotive space. 
  • Seek new press relationships and expand existing ones within consumer tech and trade media to deliver results.
  • Manage the development of press materials for all programs, including key messages, press releases, presentations, creative assets and other supporting content.
  • Oversee execution of plans and lead all press outreach and follow-up on behalf of product and technology initiatives.

About you:

  • BA/BS degree in Communications, journalism, or other relevant field.
  • 12+ years’ experience in consumer tech product PR, either in-house, agency side or as a journalist.
  • Demonstrated skill in building relationships with top tier reporters and editors, and in successfully positioning subject matter with the media to achieve high impact placements.
  • Proven experience in creation and execution of PR strategies for critical product and technology launches and/or initiatives.
  • Positive, collaborative, and team-oriented; thrives in building relationships and working cross-functionally
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and calm under pressure, with exceptional judgment
  • Strong ability to advocate and influence at any level- from executives to peers to working teams
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues in a clear and concise manner
  • Skilled at managing up and prioritizing; flexible and able to run multiple projects with (at times) minimal direction
  • Strong eye for detail
