About the role

We are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Stock Accounting & Accounts Receivable Business Analyst working within the Finance Operations team for an 18-month Full-time contract. 

This is an exciting opportunity to work with key internal and external stakeholders including Finance, Distribution Centres, Merchandise, Operations Teams, Off-Shore Team, Third party Service Providers and Suppliers. 

Your role will include:

  • Process and review accounting for stock
  • Customer management, collection of debt from customers, reporting on customer aged debt and doubtful debt provisioning
  • Providing analytics to internal stakeholders • Oversee the offshore team
  • Assist in resolution of internal / external escalated queries and assist with change management and project related activity.

About you and your skills

You are highly motivated and self-driven. Focused on driving through results to a conclusion and engaging with the business to ensure delivery. Passionate about solving the business’ performance-related issues. 

You will have the following skills & experience:

  • Working in Retail in a finance position at a similar level
  • End to end processes
  • Costing Experience & cost analysis
  • Stock Accounting Experience
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable / accounts payable/Logistics
  • Automating reports and system enhancements
  • Working Experience with high volume and complex data 
  • Proven ability in driving process efficiency and improvements
  • Accounting qualification CPA/CA – in depth accounting knowledge
  • Forecasting and creative out-of-box thinking
  • Advanced knowledge of business systems
  • Strong experience using financial systems in a commercial environment e.g., Microsoft Office applications (inc. Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI), TM1 & SAP
