Platform Sales Executive

We are looking for a smart, energetic salesperson to help us continue the rapid growth of the Sharethrough Exchange in UK.

Our platform sales team are responsible for acquiring new partners to use the Sharethrough for Publishers Platform (SFP) to grow their native revenue. They actively seek out new publishers to help grow the Sharethrough Exchange (STX), educating them on native best practices and helping them transform their business to native.

A typical Sharethrough seller is someone who is ambitious, proactive, passionate about advertising and good with people. Someone with a proven track record of success in acquiring publishers who’s comfortable understanding the supply side ecosystem.

Founded in San Francisco in 2008, Sharethrough has been responsible for the growth and standardisation of native programmatic advertising. Sharethrough is the platform of choice for Publishers (like Sky Media, CNN International, Time Inc, Vice Media, IDG and News UK) and Marketers (like Nestle, P&G, Netflix and Microsoft) to transform their digital advertising business to contemporary industry standards of performant, accountable and non-intrusive ads.

Sharethrough is headquartered in San Francisco, with offices in New York, Chicago, Austin, Detroit, Tokyo and Toronto. Our EMEA hub in London launched 3 years ago on the back of strategic investment from Sky Media.

About You & Your Background

  • At least 2-4 years demonstrated SaaS platform sales experience (programmatic experience a plus).
  • History of meeting and exceeding goals
  • Exceptional client service background with an active network of UK publisher contacts
  • You understand the complexities of publisher monetisation
  • The ability to educate complex ideas in an elegant, meaningful way for the benefit of key stakeholders at publishers
  • The insight to be able to invent solutions to tomorrow’s challenges today
  • Strong experience with digital culture, and knowledge of trends and innovation in the digital space

  • Extremely organised with strong time management skills
  • Proficient in Salesforce
  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills
  • A swift decision maker, able to confidently deliver quality in a rapidly growing and changing organisation
  • Able to negotiate and close business deals swiftly
