Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Quality Assurance Teams are responsible for all or part of an organization's Quality Management System, including conformance and continuous improvement initiatives. They work on systemic evaluation of products, services, facilities, manufacturing or business processes, to ensure that standards of quality are being met. Develop and implement quality plans, programs and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. They reviews, analyze and report on quality discrepancies, investigate problems and executes quality audits, and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. The team works closely with manufacturing, engineering, customers, or suppliers and subcontractors to ensure requirements are met.

Responsibilities & Qualifications


  • Communication with customer about quality related topics
  • Mediator between customer and TE function units for all kind of quality issues.
  • Facilitates analysis of customer issue to ensure plants get complete information.
  • Quick response to customer's issue and visit customers regularly to develop good relationship.
  • Coordinate the sorting activities with regards to quality defect by meeting customer requirements, preparing product defect report and providing quality training to subcontractor to satisfy customer expectations.
  • Communication of specific customer requirements concerning Q-topics (e.g. quality assurance agreements, customer manuals) to responsible TE function units.
  • Monitoring complaint processing (processing time, response time, content of 8D reports and effectiveness of corrective actions) and report to manager.
  • Discussion of quality targets with the customer to find common understandings.
  • Monitor customer scorecards and definition of actions by negative trend.
  • Lead and drive improvement activities with TE production plants in regard to his customer of responsibility.
  • Participation on customer quality meetings.
  • Performs or confirms production and quality control audits.



  • Degree Holder preferably in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years experiences in QA Function
  • Knowledge in QC Tools such as SPC, FMEA, Control Plan
  • Knowledge in ISO9000, ISO14000 and IATF16949 requirements
  • High communication and mediator competence
