About the role

As a Software Test Engineer you will join the Supply Chain team which is part of the broader Hardware team. The focus of your work will be on the manufacturing side of the payment devices we build and you will support the team with designing and implementing automated tests for high-volume manufacturing of our electronic payment devices.

You will be designing test infrastructures, and running integration tests while constantly feeding the development team with feedback on how to improve the quality of the software they write.

The role is based onsite in our Berlin office.

What you will do: 

  • Collaborate in building and replicating automated test benches for our production line
  • Work closely with the software development team to define necessary integration tests
  • Create automated testing procedures to reproduce existing issues on the production line
  • Report any bugs found in the platform and applications used for manufacturing during the testing process
  • Collaborate with DevOps to create all necessary pipelines in Jenkins
  • Implement continuous integration (CI) across all GitHub repositories managed within the Supply Chain

You'll be great for this position if:

  • You have prior experience in test engineering and/or software engineering.
  • You possess an understanding of Embedded Systems.
  • You have knowledge of Python.
  • You have understanding of Linux environment and Git.
  • You have experience with Test Bench and lab test equipment.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration systems, and experience with Jenkins
  • Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., pyTest, robot framework)
