The Position

We are looking for a Marketing Operations Manager with around 6-8 years of experience. You are a self-starter who takes the initiative and can work closely with a team of marketers, senior company executives, and agencies. You should be a dynamic high-energy individual with a positive, can-do attitude. You possess an analytical mindset, sound judgment, excellent creative instincts and very strong communication skills, verbal and written.  You must have the interest and the desire to deeply connect with the culture of iMerit and be a part of its global growth journey. There is substantial opportunity for ownership of marketing initiatives and visibility within the company.


Your main responsibilities will include ensuring smooth global marketing operations, working with top management to coordinate and execute all types of marketing activities, both outbound and inbound for iMerit, and to drive rigor in measuring marketing metrics. This position is based in Kolkata but will have involvement with all the company’s global operations.


Core Responsibilities

Ensure execution of the company’s global marketing strategy with quick turnaround times by coordinating between internal team members and stakeholders and external vendors

Align marketing framework throughout the organization

Develop and maintain a rigorous reporting approach to measure marketing attribution

Ensure consistency of creative language and tone of voice

Build and implement a content production pipeline with input from US counterparts with creative resources including blogs, videos, infographics, presentations, campaign pages

Be a branding strategist for top management; coordinate their content needs and PR.

Continuously stay in touch with events within the company and outside it, and find ways to translate these into actionable marketing stories

Act as primary liaison between marketing and sales teams for coordination of events

Manage and grow marketing technology stack with inputs from global team.

Leverage CRM and marketing automation platforms for dashboarding marketing activities

Coordinate with US counterparts to execute all digital marketing strategies and tactics including SEO/SEM, Blogs and Forums, Page optimizations, remarketing, calls-to-action, email campaigns and more for demand generation

Plan and manage presence at global conferences, events and award ceremonies


Required skills:

Top-notch communication skills across all levels of management, with crisp writing skills

Hands-on approach to fast paced parallel initiatives

Team management skills – internal and external

2+ years’ experience in a business environment with digital presence

Basic eye for design in both photography and videography. A flair for the use of imagery in illustrating concepts

Broad view of the tech world, and an interest in social impact or international development

Analytics and toolchain e.g. automation platforms Salesforce, AdWords strongly recommended

Good knowledge and interest in SEO/SEM, blogs, social media, campaigns and analytics
