The Role: 

Hogarth Worldwide, Chennai is looking for Creative Presentations Designer who will provide design and creative support to produce high quality and impactful communications that:  

  • Support the acquisition of business, new from new and new from existing;  
  • Raise internal and market awareness of our marketing and communications services proposition;  
  • Maintain our brand identity while allowing for customized client-centric content.  

Working closely with Business Development, Marketing, Operations and Proposition teams, this role will focus on effectively designing and driving Hogarth’s proposition and solutions through communications: on-screen presentations; pitch books; videos; online and printed materials to demonstrate our innovative capability and showcase Hogarth’s leadership in the market. It includes planning and project managing teams through the presentation development process, enhancing the quality and sophistication of presentations and graphics- based output for strategic deals, and effectively using creative to drive Hogarth’s proposition and solutions through client-facing documentation and presentations, delivered to the highest standards.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Create, design and manage digital and offline materials in support of business development and marketing initiatives  
  • PowerPoint presentations  
  • Charts, graphics, slide layouts  
  • Videos/animations/digital portfolios/microsites  
  • Consult with Business Development and Operations teams to interpret client-specific solutions or service offerings and produce persuasive sales documents and/or presentations  
  • Conceptualize ideas and processes into a design, format or template to ensure a cohesive presentation that resonates with the audience while maintaining the brand  
  • Readily and creatively repurpose standard content to align with clients’ brand identity  
  • Maintain the integrity of the brand across all channels  
  • Build sustainable cross-functional working relationships across the business  
  • Generate and consistently provide innovative and creative ideas, putting forward imaginative alternatives and questioning traditional approaches  
  • Collaborate with individuals from various creative disciplines and teams to develop deliverables showcasing Hogarth’s capabilities for presentations  
  • Apply advanced animation to presentations  
  • Retouch images to improve quality, where appropriate  
  • Explore, question, challenge and assimilate the design and production process  
  • Consider the aesthetic look and feel of any document or piece of communication and provide alternative solutions when necessary.  

Project management:   

  • Set clear goals and timelines and provide feedback to ensure quality work throughout the process  
  • Take full accountability for work to ensure that deadlines are met and implementation is to a high standard  

Business development:   

  • Understand client drivers and business demands  
  • Keep up-to-speed with market and competitors’ approach to presentations and communications to ensure that Hogarth’s materials are always ‘best-in-class’  

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design/Communications or related discipline  
  • 5+ years of graphic design experience in a corporate environment, preferably in professional services type organization  
  • Experience in design/creative/high-level presentation work  
  • Experience conceptualizing ideas and messages and translating them into original graphics and client-facing designs  
  • Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision  
  • Effectively liaise with all levels of management and regional teams  
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials/documents  
  • Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat)  
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Visio)  
  • Knowledge of print, digital, video/animation design and production is desirable  
  • Should be able to give creative brief and direction for creation of print, digital or video marketing assets  
  • Experience managing agency partners or external design partners from brief to completion  
  • Superior understanding of graphic design, typography, page/ slide layout  
  • Strong understanding of brand guidelines/design disciplines  
  • Confidence to present ideas, rationale and solicit feedback from internal audiences  
  • Excellent communication, articulate and demonstrates strong interpersonal skills  
  • Strong planning, management and organizational skills  
  • Possess a critical eye in terms of accuracy and attention to detail  
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, delivering high quality work consistently against tight deadlines  
  • Passionate, high energy levels, conveys enthusiasm, and demonstrates a drive to succeed  
  • Strong writing and proofing skills  
  • Ability to collaborate as part of team  
  • Able to work flexible and long hours as required  
  • Displays an adaptable and flexible approach, and a ‘can do’ proactive attitude
