You’ll be helping us be digital-first when developing new products and services, as well as enhancing existing ones by providing software development and support to each of our Global Businesses and Global Functions.
Using best-in-class technologies, you'll deliver end-to-end execution of all technology services consumed across the HSBC landscape, including change programmes and applications in production.

Our Fixed Income business is currently moving away from a vendor platform to a new state of the art in-house built trading system. Responsibilities of the Senior Algo Developer will include requirements gathering, design, development, unit testing, system testing, back-testing, implementation and (2nd line) support systems. The primary development language is Java/Scala. A track record of agile delivery of Business requirements is a must.as well as demonstrating full ownership of mission critical production systems.
