Brief Job Overview
USP is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Design Manager to join our dynamic Creative Services team, housed within the Global Communications department. This role is ideal for a strategic problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about visual storytelling, brand consistency, and impactful design. You will work closely with in-house and freelance designers, other creative professionals, and communications managers to develop compelling visual content that supports USP’s mission and enhances our global presence.
The Senior Design Manager will be part of talented and passionate team responsible for driving USP’s brand identity, establishing brand guidelines, and producing creative content for a global organization. In this role, you will develop integrated visual campaigns across print and digital communications channels to as part of storytelling efforts that bring USP’s relevance and impact to life, which includes:

The Senior Design Manager, Creative Services has the following responsibilities:
Work Schedule and Location:
This is a part-time position, requiring approximately 20 hours per week. The schedule should be spread across at least four weekdays to support collaboration and project continuity. The role follows a hybrid work model, with a requirement to be onsite at USP’s Rockville, MD headquarters at least two days per week. Remote work is permitted for the remainder of the schedule, subject to team needs and supervisor approval.

Compensation
Base Salary Range (based on 20 hour work week): USD $62,000.00 – $78,750.00 annually.
Target Annual Bonus: % Varies based on level of role.
Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate’s skill set, experience, qualifications, equity, and other job-related reasons.
