Eisner Advisory Group LLC is seeking to fill a Senior Analyst position within the Finance Department focused on M&A integration. This individual will support the deal life cycle from early-stage integration planning through post-close execution, with a main focus on target firms in phased integration status. We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated, and solution-focused individual that can collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. This individual will be responsible for supporting finance phased integration activities, partnering with key stakeholders across the entire organization, as well as communicating with colleagues at target companies. The ability to plan, execute effectively, and pivot along the way will be critical to achieving success in this role. Equally important will be the ability to building relationships among the integration team and within the finance department as you collaborate towards achieving a common goal.

What work you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and continuously refining our finance integration playbook for each transaction in the “phased integration” state, and monitoring progress against that plan.
  • Supporting day to day phased integration activities, collaborating with internal SME’s as well as target firm SME’s. This includes resolving critical issues and questions raised by the target firm, serving as a point of contact between internal SMEs and target firm, and coordination/communication with other IMO members.
  • Assist M&A Controller in obtaining data necessary for monthly close for phased integrations, to assure proper reporting and consolidation.
  • Providing on-going finance operational support to the target firm as questions arise.
  • Leading the on-going efforts to establish and maintain clean client data during the phased integration phase, specifically for shared work scenarios before full integration.
  • Coordinating with internal and external teams regarding working capital, clients, vendors, bank accounts, credit cards, letters of credit and other transactional or treasury items.
  • Building and cultivating strong relationships with integration stakeholders at all levels, including Controllership, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Procurement, Billing, Account Receivable, FP&A, Human Resources, Technology, Marketing, and across Service Lines.
  • Participating in and preparing for Finance workstream meetings and ad hoc communications with the finance and integration teams.
  • Managing multiple integrations concurrently while also assisting in building out the Finance integration toolset (e.g. playbooks, process flows, work plans).
  • Proactively identify integration areas for improvement, and actively participate in designing solutions and updating our toolset and processes.
  • Assist in Finance Transformation related deliverables as time goes on, helping to build and improve our Finance department processes and procedures.

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in a related field.

Preferred candidates also have:

  • Experience documenting, communicating, and responding quickly to inquiries and challenges.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience working with a high degree of ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated experience operating in an unstructured & collaborative environment.
  • Track record of working with cross functional teams, and experience with managing multiple projects at once.
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders to align on a shared vision, across teams, departments, as well as titles (from admins to senior executives).
  • Experience analyzing and compiling large data sets tied to various processes throughout a deal lifecycle.
  • Understanding of how a Professional Services business operates.

The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
