Description
 
  • Develop & Implement a Quality Strategy  in the Asia Pacific region that aligns business strategies and quality strategies from both global and regional perspectives to deliver benefit to our customers
  • Provide Quality input to APLT for business decisions
  • Issues management for product and performance issues that assures timely, adequate communication of findings and resolutions across functions within supply chains, commercial & Regulatory and other relevant functions.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects for product quality & process quality improvements.
  • Achieve Global Quality operational targets and requirements
  • Engage with external stack holders and customers, suppliers Govt. authorities to support business requirements in the area of Quality.
  • Monitor industry trends and  develop & Implement strategies to make organization as number one in Quality
  • Deploy New Technologies, Automation, Simplification & Harmonisation
  • Plan & deploy resources such as operational and capital budget for short & long term.

Accountable for Quality

  • Managing geographies & quality councils in the region
  • Accountable for over all quality
  • Accountable for operational quality aspects in Asia-Pacific & China
  • Responsible to provide an overall status of risk management to supply chain leadership
  • Responsible to lead & manage response teams and communications on all significant quality issues
  • Accountable for all product specifications and standards and business processes
  • Accountable for regulatory compliance policy and requirements for business
  • Represent for regional supply chain & global quality leadership for quality in the region.

Customer

  • Responsible for representing “Customer Experience” to the Regional business & Global Quality Team
  • Provide regional view of “customer experience” for the business by rolling up regional team efforts, metrics, processes
  • Ensure product line Quality leads can represent customer experience to Global Row Crop Team, VMLT, Global Crop Protection Team, and Global Biologicals Team

People

  • Set up Quality organization to meet the business needs
  • Develop & Implement short & long term people strategy
  • Developing strong teams and succession pipelines to provide continuity in all aspects of Quality
  • Source, place and develop strategic business leaders as well as technical talent

Qualifications
 
  • Bachelor Degree in Science or Agriculture or Engineering or Bio-technology or Seed Health
  • Min 5 years experience in seed or agriculture or related industries
  • Min 5 years experience in Senior Leadership roles
