Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • 15 years of experience with semiconductors in the EDA/3PIP partner management, business development, complex transaction negotiation.
  • Experience in driving EDA/3PIP leadership with complex, cross-functional deliverables, and tolerance for ambiguity, engaging and delivering results.
  • Knowledge of EDA platforms (e.g., Synopsys, Cadence and Siemens) and an understanding of EDA design flows and 3PIP ecosystem.
  • Understanding of product and technology development processes and strategies.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time, as needed.

The Strategic Partnerships and Relationships team within Google’s Custom Silicon team is responsible for seeking, negotiating, and closing new opportunities with Google's silicon and software partners.

In this role, you will interface between Google partners and internal cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, Finance, Legal, and Business teams, and help them find ways to develop and scale Google's custom SoCs.Google's mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $157,000-$241,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage the business strategy, financial terms, agreement timelines, and agreement process from start to finish.
  • Evaluate new opportunities and provide recommendations to the management team. Communicate and collaborate with a broad range of cross-functional constituents (e.g., product, engineering, marketing, finance, sales, legal).
  • Build, maintain and evolve relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide feedback on product plans/roadmaps with technical stakeholders, taking into consideration how Google can collaborate with relevant partner ecosystems.
  • Drive EDA and 3PIP partner engagements.
