We are currently seeking to build our team by adding a Quality Control Technician. 

Position Summary

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for performing Quality Control functions in accordance with the internal Quality Management System, established FDA current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s), Organic regulations, Kosher requirements, and all other standards and regulations applicable to the Synergy business. This person exhibits the best qualities of The Synergy Company and therefore must present themselves with the highest standards.

This position is based in our company headquarters located in Moab, UT. Experience with Quality is preferred, but not required.

Position Wage Range = $21.00 - $27.50 per hour

  • New employee sign-on bonus: New Quality Control Technicians are eligible to receive a sign-on bonus of up to $1,500. 00 

General working hours are Monday – Thursday, 6:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M, with one alternating day of early release per week.

The successful candidate will:

  • Document and report inspection status to Quality Management
  • Provide feedback on identified non-conformances to Management
  • Be able to assess scenarios in real time to determine if there is need for immediate action and/or communication to prevent nonconforming issues to continue
  • Use sampling plans to determine the number of samples to be pulled
  • Complete required documentation
  • Complete organoleptics – Tasting, smelling, and visual inspection of botanicals, vitamins, and minerals as part of the identification of raw materials.
  • Segregate and quarantine non-conforming processes and/or products
  • Ensure all employees comply with Good Documentation Practices
  • Inspect finished goods for compliance, and accuracy prior to shipment out of our facility.

Quality experience is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided. 

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, listen, and comprehend English proficiently as to enable the safe and effective performance of the job
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED and basic computer skills
  • A background check will be required
