Metz Culinary Management at Ursuline College is looking for hard working, timely, and proud of their work employees to add to our staff.
We are look to hire a Full Time employee with flexible scheduling and overtime pay available.
The following roles are available for hire immediately:
Short Order Grill Cook / Line Cook - Ideal schedule would be Thursday and Friday 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Some Wednesdays will be necessary as well.
We are able to work with any needs that you may have on getting you the schedule you want and what works for us both.
Dental, Medical and Vision benefits are available. Vacation and Sick and Wellness Pay available after one year of employment. Each day you work, you are entitled to one meal while on the clock.
Prior kitchen experience is preferred. A basic understanding of cooking, temperatures and kitchen cleanliness is necessary for this position but higher pay is available to those with prior kitchen / cooking experience. We will train and work with you.
Our idea candidates must have reliable transportation (No bus routes to the school campus, closest bus stop is 2 miles away at Menorah Park) and be timely.
Our Grill Cook / Line Cooks are responsible for the following:
Prepping and Executing a Daily / Cycle Menu according to recipes in a timely manner.
Working cleanly, quickly, and able to handle many orders at once in front of college students.
Shows great customer service skills and able to keep it professional in front of guests.
Responsible for keeping your prep station and serving station clean and orderly.
Working with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef on taste and presentation of your daily dishes.
Catering Prep when time allows.
Trash / Recycle removal.
Sweeping / Mopping / Cleaning projects in and around the kitchen.
