We’re looking for a Healthcare Recruiter with experience sourcing and recruiting positions such as Personal Care Attendants/Caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants and Registered Nurses (RN) to support the storming growth of our company.

The Recruiter will develop employment marketing strategies to target and recruit candidates using a variety of tools and techniques, including, but not limited to, social networking, employee referrals, third party job boards, job fairs, as well as creating partnerships with schools and other organizations. The Recruiter is a member of a dedicated administrative support team who works under the direction of the Franchise owner to ensure our bench strength is able to accommodate our growing company. The Recruiter will communicate the core values, culture, and benefits of the company to interested candidates and participate in full cycle recruiting.

The Recruiter should have the ability to create and maintain solid relationships, have brand awareness, work with urgency and have a competitive side. The Recruiter should also have an outgoing personality with the ability to sell the brand to new employees. They should be comfortable with public speaking, networking, and selling BrightStar to potential new employees, referral partners, schools, etc. The Recruiter should be able to identify effective sourcing strategies to meet goals with the ability to measure the results and present them to the team weekly. The Recruiter functions similar to a sales manager for new employees rather than new clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Franchise Owner and/or Branch Manager on recruiting planning meetings.
  • Assist in the creation of job descriptions & effectively manage them to ensure exposure
  • Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.
  • Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
  • Conduct regular follow-up with management to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Build networks to find qualified passive candidates
  • Post openings in newspaper advertisements, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues
  • Develop and implement employment marketing strategies
  • Leverage traditional sourcing methods and social media best practices to identify top talent
  • Aid public relations in establishing a recognizable “employer of choice” reputation for the company, both internally and externally
  • Communicate with employees and field staff regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads
  • Attend local professional meetings and membership development meetings
  • Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates
  • Coordinate recruiting initiatives
  • Attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition
  • Give presentations, attend group meetings, and increase awareness of the company before and after career fairs
  • Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements
  • Screen, interview & evaluate candidates
  • Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Performing reference and background checks for potential employees
  • Assist in writing and forwarding rejection letters
  • Participate in office after hours on call rotation
  • Assist in preparing and sending new employee orientation packages and on-boarding new hires
  • Track and report key data metrics to evaluate job board effectiveness, applicants, and if staffing goals are routinely being met
  • Other HR related duties as assigned by the owner or director of operations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience with full cycle recruiting, healthcare recruiting a plus.
  • Experience working with an ATS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to travel for recruitment meetings, college visits, and career fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule.
