The Materials Handler is a key associate at Hope Network whose primary responsibilities include: Receiving, unloading, staging, moving material to warehouse and loading materials for shipping. Including a thorough understanding of managing all paperwork and electronic files for receiving and shipping. Responsible for overseeing B shift Hi / Lo team, proper movement of pallets from dock to production staging area as well as associated transactions in Nulogy. Demonstrated knowledge of issuing picklists and managing warehouse inventory. Maintaining equipment and ensuring a safe work environment for all employees.

The Materials Handler is responsible for:

- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of this position.
- Lead and train Hi/Lo level 1 and 2 drivers.
- Locating materials and staging in plant or docks as directed.
- Safe and efficient operation of the Hi-Lo.
- Complete all necessary training for role in order to obtain Hi-Lo license for HNI.
- Unloading and loading pallets from trailers utilizing Hi-Lo.
- Maintain accurate daily record of materials moved to and from warehouse using established procedures.
- Assist in maintaining an organized, clean, safe, secure, efficient dock and storage area.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service to drivers and other plant personnel.
- Observe and maintain OSHA, regulatory, customer and ISO standards in daily work.
- Assist Production, Shipping and Receiving team as necessary.
- Perform other HNI duties requested by Material Handler - Warehouse Coordinator or other senior members of management.
- Demonstrate competency by loading and unloading pallets from trailers utilizing Hi-Lo within the 2 hour time slot.
- Ability to train Level 1 and 2 Hi-Lo Drivers.
- Demonstrate competency, facilitate and complete all documents required to receive and ship pallets/truckloads.
- Understand, facilitate, and complete all documents required to receive and ship pallets/truckloads.
- Issue picklists to allow for inventory to be transacted to production staging area.

We are hopeful you have…
- Experience in a production setting.
- Experience in a lead or supervisory role.
- 3-5 years of Experience with operating a Hi-Lo.
- Experience with QS9000 and AIB standards preferred.
- Experience in computer data entry preferred.
- The ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
