Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). An ideal candidate must live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations listed here: Atlanta, GA

The Senior Security Advisor (IAM Cloud Engineer) will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing secure and compliant IAM solutions for our enterprise customers. You will be responsible for ensuring that our customers have the right level of access to the right resources at the right time, while also protecting their data from unauthorized access.

In this role, you will be a key member of our cyber security team working closely and partnering with multiple groups to increase automation within the cloud identity space. You will execute and automate Identity provisioning and deprovisioning processes quickly, accurately, and securely.

How you will make an impact:

  • Responsibilities will include writing and deploying code into Azure or GCP in an automated fashion.
  • Responsible for developing end to end architecture for the IAM Cloud Solutions to meet our control, security and business needs , along with providing deep subject matter expertise for Azure Identity & Access Management services, entities, configuration, and best practices
  • Design a cloud native infrastructure environment in Azure or GCP from development environments through production environments utilizing Identity and Cybersecurity best practices
  • Consult and Partner with peers and customers.
  • Configure systems and application monitoring, defining alerts and building appropriate dashboards
  • Integrate security tools, standards and processes into cloud environments for IAM
  • Partner with teams to develop standards & best practices with the goal of increasing effectiveness and visibility across a diverse environment
  • Automate IAM tasks such as policy creation, role creation, and SCP’s
  • Hands on design, development and documentation of all processes and procedures

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires BS/BA in information Technology or related field of study and a minimum of 8 years experience in systems administration and security aspects of information systems, access management and network security technologies, network communications, computer networking, telecommunications, systems development and management, hardware, software, data, and people; experience with multiple technical and business disciplines required; Requires broad-based experience to plan and design highly complex systems; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Experiences and Competencies:

  • Proven track record of automating and launching products within Cybersecurity and Cloud Environments.
  • Experience in delivering outcomes through agile software delivery.
  • Excellent communications skills and be able to build strong relationships with senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience with Identity and Access Management(IAM).
  • Proficient with a variety of Software development / scripting languages such as C# / Java / Python / PowerShell
  • 3+ years hands on experience with Azure or GCP
  • Any of Azure administrator, Azure Security Engineer, GCP administrator, GCP Security engineering certifications or Equivalent
  • Deep knowledge and hand on experience of terraform and GCP or Azure cloud.
  • 5+ years of other cloud experience (AWS). Expertise in AWS is desired as the role supports enterprise multi cloud environment.
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of IAM principles for GCP, AWS and Azure
  • Familiarity with IT control processes around risk and compliance
  • Familiarity with Security domain concepts such as SAML, OAUTH, OIDC, LDAP, SSO, ADFS, and Federation flow
  • Experience with Privileged Access solutions is a plus
  • Experience managing delivery of full-stack technical solutions
  • Exposure to agile product management including the ability to set vision, establish a roadmap, set goals, write user stories and execute
  • Ability to lead or collaborate with cross-functional resources to manage and resolve interdependencies
  • Must have strong organizational skills with a proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
