Job Duties:
Server Support:
Configure, install, and maintain DCU database servers, web servers and file servers, including hardware, software and peripherals. Manage the backup and restoration of DCU database servers, web servers and file servers. 25%
Install and configure network hardware and software. Manage information system and network user accounts, access rights, and security settings. Ensure network reliability by performing software updates and monitoring server activity, security, and availability. 25%
Desktop Support:
Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues for employees. 25%
Develop and maintain technical documentation of DCU systems and networks. Plan and implement IT related policies and procedures. Review and analyze System, Application and Security Log Files. 25%
Preferred additional experience:
Familiar with MS Windows Operating System (desktop and server), Virtualization platforms and MS SQL Server database systems. Strong interpersonal communication and documentation skills. Scripting experience, preferably with MS PowerShell SQL Programming experience Understanding of relational database structures .Net with C# programming Application development experience
