Canadian Tire Digital requires an experienced Project Manager who will be responsible for the delivery of exciting digital initiatives for the Canadian Tire Corporation, its partners, and its customers.

What you’ll do

  • Analyze our current Agile processes, prioritize areas of improvement, and work alongside key stakeholders to implement the improvements
  • Manage projects in JIRA and Confluence; 
  • Facilitate/participate in key Agile ceremonies across Scrum teams
  • Coach team members as needed, including resolving conflict
  • Define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organize and lead project status and working meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects
  • Monitor and report on key Agile performance metrics to leadership team
  • Accountable for overall delivery of Digital projects, with the specified level of quality for the project sponsor, on time and within budget and scope
  • Communicate effectively with business and store stakeholders, project members and management
  • Manage scope, schedule and cost priorities between stakeholder groups and within the project team
  • Manage the activities of project(s) to align with senior management strategic direction
  • Perform the required activities for transitioning the project to the sustaining teams
  • Work with a Systems Integrator and negotiate Statements of Work

What you’ve done

  • A proven track record of successfully implementing Digital development projects using Agile methodologies including 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing large, complex projects in a digital development environment with multi-function teams. 
  • Experience in managing large scale digital initiatives that pertain to Content Management and eCommerce 
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) desired
  • Proven leadership and motivation skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills a must; can present formally or informally
  • Experience using Agile performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement
  • Can maintain a high level of energy and engagement
  • Managed large budgets
