What is the opportunity?
You will manage the delivery of functionality implemented by multiple IT teams, organized as multiple, interdependent work streams in the Risk Capital and Credit Risk Reporting Program, with an aggressive timeline.
In 2013, two regulatory reviews by the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) followed by a comprehensive third-party review by Oliver Wyman resulted in approximately 100 specific recommendations for improvements to existing processes and data. Properly addressing all of the outstanding recommendations will require a fundamental review of all aspects of the estimation process including how relevant data is identified, collected, and processed. Further, implementation of segmentation changes as well as certain enhancements will necessitate changes in several existing IT systems and applications. The resulting program – Wholesale Parameter Enhancement Program (WPEP) was split into 8 separate projects.
