Agile Technology Project Manager

What does a successful Agile Technology Project Manager do at Fiserv?

As an Agile Technology Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving simple to complex, high priority projects or component phases of larger Application Development programs. You will be accountable for delivering projects on time, within budget, and within scope.

You will lead and coordinate cross-functional, cross-departmental, and occasionally cross-company teams for Digital Payments Solutions, and help drive process improvements and standards for all aspects of a project, from initiation to closure.

You will exemplify strong initiative and management skills, ensuring project methodologies, project delivery processes, and implementation management processes are followed.

This includes managing and driving project schedule, risk and issuer management and scope change management.

What you will do:

  • Manage the project budget, including understanding and validating estimates, cost variance tracking, and managing project resources effectively
  • Provide Project/Program status i.e., Mission Critical Program Updates (weekly meeting) and Clarity Reporting
  • Ensures adherence to and proper organization usage of project/program management practices in alignment with an agile methodology implementation
  • Facilitates/manages project communications and stakeholder, client, and project team expectations
  • Report on KPIs related to pipeline and execution portfolios, financials, and performance measures
  • Support Backlog & Capacity Management through the management of new project flow into development
  • Create and maintain project & capacity forecasting including allocations and variance
  • Maintain Clarity (PPM tool), JIRA Management and publish appropriate reports to create transparency

What you will need to have:

  • 6+ years of experience in progressive technology project management experience, including management of major application development projects, in large operating environments
  • 6+ years of experience in agile methodology
  • 6+ years of experience in delivering projects within budget and specified timeframes, while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • 6+ years of experience in software development related projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, or military experience

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments (10-20 Projects simultaneously)
  • SAFe methodology experience
  • Agile coaching experience
  • Release management experience
  • Experience in payments or FinTech domain
