We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Specialist with deep expertise in Mainframe technologies, particularly Assembler programming. The ideal candidate will have 7–11 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex mainframe applications. This role requires a proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes full ownership of deliverables.
Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance mainframe applications using Assembler.
Analyze and troubleshoot complex system issues and provide effective solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Take end-to-end ownership of assigned modules or projects.
Continuously improve system performance and reliability.
Document technical specifications and processes.
7–11 years of experience in Mainframe development, with a strong focus on Assembler programming.
Proficiency in JCL, COBOL, DB2, and other mainframe tools is a plus.
Strong understanding of mainframe architecture, memory management, and performance tuning.
Experience in debugging and resolving complex issues in production environments.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good to Have:
Demonstrated ability to self-learn and adapt to new technologies or tools.
Proven track record of taking initiative and end-to-end ownership of deliverables.
Experience in mentoring junior developers or leading small teams.
