Please join us and contribute to our goals with your new role as Senior IT Consultant Vulnerability Management at our location in Hanover.

In this role, you're in charge of the following tasks:

  • Continental will proactively prevent security issues by identifying and addressing vulnerabilities. As Senior IT Architect for Vulnerability Management, you will be responsible to actively manage, oversee the operation and continuous improve the service.
  • The scope is worldwide and you will work within a team of cybersecurity enthusiasts in the Security Operations Center.
  • You will steer the identification, prioritization and tracking of findings and act as escalation contact for external service delivery units as well as internal customers.
  • With your help, the process will evolve and all stakeholders will understand particular vulnerabilities and appropriate remediation measures.

Qualifications

  • Academic degree or comparable Cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, GISP, ...)
  • Several years of equivalent experience
  • Excellent working knowledge of up-to-date cybersecurity tools and structures (e.g., SIEM)
  • Experience in Cybersecurity related environments (e.g., SoC, Pentesting, Threat Hunting, Incident Response, Forensics) desireable
  • Experience in a global and multicultural company and in 3rd party provider management
  • Experience in project management and knowldege of automation and programming desirable
  • Knowledge of client, server and cloud infrastructure and mutual understanding of applications architecture
  • IT service management skills (ITIL)
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Ability to aggregate information depending on target audience
  • Ability to explain technical details to non-IT stakeholders
