We are currently accepting applications for an ACH Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accurate and compliant processing of ACH transaction. The work schedule will be on-site Monday-Friday 9:00 am-5:30 pm MDT in Midvale, UT or Phoenix, AZ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process ACH transactions in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Handle daily ACH origination tasks, including client file processing, returns, reversals, rejects, death notifications, and reclamations.
- Conduct OFAC verifications and manage exception items.
- Set up and maintain ACH contracts for origination clients.
- Review daily reports, perform reconciliations, and complete data entry tasks.
- Develop a working knowledge of Federal Regulation E, OFAC guidelines, and NACHA Operating Rules.
- Prioritize and manage workflow to ensure operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer and internal partner issues.
- Conduct transactional research and assist with technical problem-solving.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and support.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Requires High School diploma or equivalent and some experience with accounting, balancing, banking and electronic payment processing, ACH systems or other directly related experience.
- A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
- Strong research, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and resolve issues with guidance.
- Proficiency in PC applications; knowledge of ACH systems is a plus.
