Job Description

  • Expand your horizon: You perform predefined experiments for various chips and wafer technologies using acoustic-emission testing platform for POAA (Probe-Over-Active-Area) robustness qualifications
  • Take responsibility: You execute experiments with advanced probing technologies for semiconductor wafer test
  • Keep the overview: You support regular mandatory tasks according to lab certification rules like ESD tests and safety checks
  • Organizational talent: You organize and execute routine lab activities like labeling and keeping track of consumables
  • Focus on the future: You carry out 2D and 3D optical inspections of wafers, pads or probe needles

Your Profile

  • Study field: You are currently studying micro/nano-technology, material science, mechanical engineering, physics or similar
  • Interests: You are interested in semiconductor technology and test technologies
  • Team work is dreamwork: You are a team player and willing to learn
  • Skills: You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office, MATLAB and LabView
  • Experience: You ideally have practical working experience in micro-/nano-technology lab or production
  • Language skills: You have good German and English skills, both written and spoken

Important information:

  • Working part-time: The focus is on studies. Therefore, working student is possible during the lecture period with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
  • Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: You must be enrolled, and the examination results or modules of your studies must not have been completed yet, so that you can still work in our team for at least 6 months. You must also not be in a semester of leave.
  • You should live close to the site: It is important for us to work with you on site and to integrate you into the team. You should therefore be able to come to the site regularly.
