Product Manager (m/f/d)

ng-voice

Committed to building the next generation of 100% software-based mobile networks, ng-voice is creating innovative mobile infrastructure solutions and making them accessible for operators and enterprises that want to deploy future-proof networks.

To support our exponential growth, we are looking for a Product Manager (m/f/d) to join our Hamburg office. What you'll do

  • Translate needs into scoped work – convert customer gaps, engineering ideas, and market signals into clear, acceptance‑ready backlog Jira tickets.
  • Own backlog health – maintain ticket quality, sizing data, and priority suggestions so the VP of Product can make informed roadmap decisions.
  • Steer delivery flow – track progress, flag risks, and ensure documentation and release notes stay synced with shipped features.
  • Capture and loop feedback – turn launch lessons and in‑field insights into follow‑up improvements, measuring adoption and impact.
  • Monitor metrics that matter – cycle‑time, readiness ratio, release accuracy, and feature usage.
  • Stay ahead of standards – watch 3GPP / GSMA releases and industry moves; highlight implications for future planning.

Our ideal new colleague

  • 3–5 years product management in IMS / VoLTE / SIP / Diameter software.
  • Fluent in 3GPP spec navigation and end‑to‑end IMS call flows.
  • Able to interpret SIP/Diameter traces and skim YAML / JSON / Helm for scope clarity.
  • Jira & Confluence power‑user with proven backlog ownership and ticket hygiene.
  • Data‑driven prioritiser who balances urgency, effort, and strategic value.
  • Sharp, concise communicator—comfortable with engineers and executives alike.

Nice to have

  • Worked across the 2G, 3G, 4G or 5G telco networks (understanding Network Core functions in 4G/5G cores, IMS Design & Virtualized Network Design)
  • Hands‑on involvement with Tier‑1 operator roll‑outs and acceptance testing.
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes / public‑cloud cost models.
  • Built automated changelog or product‑analytics dashboards.

A little more about our culture and why you should join

  • We are committed to building a diverse team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills in a traditionally not very diverse industry
  • We offer you the culture of a fast-growing start-up with the maturity of an enterprise company
  • We are more interested in your experience and knowledge than formal degrees
  • Entrepreneurial culture and flat hierarchies
  • Mobility benefit, fitness benefit, language class benefit and wellness benefit (for full-time employees)
  • Home office budget (for full-time employees)
