Senior Product Manager, Clinical Experience

epocrates Product and Team:

epocrates is a clinical reference app used by over 1M doctors and health care providers annually to make the best patient care decisions about medication and treatment. With the epocrates+ paid offering, subscribers can access additional premium clinical content for a monthly or annual fee.

Our multi-disciplinary team of SMEs -- front and backend engineers, product management veterans, medical doctors, PharmDs, visual designers, UX researchers, data experts, and more -- work together to create a product for health care providers that enables them to deliver the best possible care to their patients while saving valuable time.

This is a 100% remote role

Role Overview

We’re looking for a product leader who thrives at the intersection of emerging technology, user experience, and rapid experimentation. This role will lead the vision and roadmap for AI-first user journeys, driving everything from early concept exploration to scaled deployment, with a focus on measurable outcomes and continuous learning.

You will be responsible for crafting intuitive, human-centered product experiences that harness the power of AI—and for building the culture to test, learn, and iterate quickly. You will also be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our current product offering to ensure business continuity and value for our users as we transition to AI-powered solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the end-to-end AI product experience: Own the strategy and execution for AI-driven features and user journeys across our platform.
• Drive experimentation at scale: Partner with design, engineering, and data science to define and run A/B tests, prototypes, and pilots to validate hypotheses and optimize user experience.
• Maintain and optimize the current product: Ensure ongoing stability, performance, and improvement of the existing product experience, supporting users and business needs as you guide the transition to new AI-powered solutions.
• Collaborate on monetization strategy: Work cross-functionally with business, finance, and go-to-market teams to define and validate monetization models for both current and AI-powered products, ensuring alignment with user needs and business objectives.
• Translate complexity into clarity: Collaborate with AI/ML teams to turn advanced capabilities into simple, engaging interfaces for end users.
• Measure what matters: Define success metrics, interpret experimental results, and use insights to guide prioritization and iteration.
• Champion responsible AI: Ensure ethical and inclusive design, balancing performance and personalization with transparency and trust.
• Build for the future: Stay at the cutting edge of generative AI and large language models to inform product thinking and keep us ahead of the curve.

Who You Are

• 6–10+ years of product management experience, ideally with 2+ years leading AI/ML or personalization-focused products.
• Track record of shipping elegant user experiences in fast-moving, data-rich environments.
• Strong grasp of experimental design, A/B testing frameworks, and user research methods.
• Technical fluency in AI concepts (e.g., LLMs, embeddings, ranking systems), able to collaborate deeply with engineers and data scientists
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills—able to align stakeholders around a vision and articulate learnings from failure.
• Passionate about pushing boundaries while grounding decisions in user impact and business value
