System One has partnered with a business advisory and public accounting firm that is seeking a talented and experienced Human Resources Consulting Manager specialized in Human Capital to join their dynamic team, assisting executives and clients with a wide range of human resources and organizational development initiatives. This role involves fostering strategic relationships and providing exceptional service in various HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example and embody the core values of the organization, promoting high standards of service and dynamic engagement.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for designated clients, managing relationships within human capital projects.
    • Collaborate with executive-level clients (primarily CFOs and CEOs) to deliver exceptional HR services, encompassing HR audits, organizational and strategic planning, succession planning, coaching, learning and development, performance management, compliance, and transactional HR.
    • Communicate with clients in various formats, including presentations, proposals, and meetings with executives and boards.
    • Work alongside clients to identify challenges and opportunities, advocating for solutions that align with their needs.
    • Effectively share project updates and outcomes, ensuring clarity with both internal teams and clients.
    • Understand client objectives thoroughly to enhance the value of services delivered.
  • Cultivate and develop client relationships that align with established business goals and profitability targets.
    • Engage with professional and business communities to foster the profession's growth.
    • Create personal marketing strategies and maintain an active client portfolio.
    • Enhance service offerings by delivering exceptional support and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
  • Oversee assigned client engagements and related practice areas, ensuring adherence to quality standards and compliance with applicable HR regulations.
    • Direct team members on assignments, ensuring outstanding results and compliance with operational budgets and billing procedures.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate with teams to implement best practices.
    • Act as a mentor and Career Advisor, fostering the development of upcoming leaders in the organization.
    • Maintain a target of 1,500 billable hours within a 2,200-hour work year.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
  • 5-10 years of experience in a generalist HR role is a must.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a consulting role related to human resources or organizational development is preferred.
  • Relevant HR certifications are highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word; PowerPoint experience is a plus).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Proven project management expertise, able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong technical, research, and analytical capabilities.
  • Experience in a paperless work environment is preferred.
