Role purpose:

As the HR Dashboards & Analytics SME, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining insightful dashboards and analytics solutions that support strategic decision-making across the HR function. You will play a key role in transforming raw HR data into actionable insights, ensuring data accuracy, and enabling a data-driven culture within the organization.

This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise in data visualization tools, deep understanding of HR metrics, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful analytics solutions aligned with business goals.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

  • Design and deliver interactive HR dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions that provide visibility into key HR metrics (e.g., attrition, headcount, diversity, payroll, performance).
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all HR reporting platforms.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and data governance teams to define data models, KPIs, and reporting standards.
  • Lead the automation of recurring HR reports and analytics processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Provide analytical support for HR transformation initiatives, including predictive modeling and trend analysis.
  • Train HR stakeholders on dashboard usage and interpretation of data insights.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience

  • Proven experience in HR analytics, business intelligence, or data visualization roles within a global or matrixed organization.
  • Strong understanding of HR data domains and KPIs (e.g., workforce planning, talent acquisition, learning, compensation).
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Experience in data modeling, SQL, and working with large datasets from HRIS platforms (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday).
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and storytelling skills to translate data into business insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • 8–12 years of experience in HR analytics, data science, or business intelligence roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, HR, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Certifications in data visualization or analytics platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, SAP) are preferred.
  • Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies.
