Job Details:

The Manager of FS Customer Planning & Development provides thought leadership to the Poultry and Prepared Business Segments. This role is pivotal in generating demand and driving end-to-end engagement with top broadline distribution alongside Sales. Focused on building and enhancing customer relationships, you'll play a key role in growing both our business and our customers' business across the branded portfolio.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Customer Strategy Development: Drive the creation and execution of strategies and plans for the assigned customer(s).
  • Data Analytics: Own the mining of customer-specific data analytics and syndicated resources to enhance decision-making processes.
  • Market Share Growth: Coordinate efforts to gain market share in new or underpenetrated categories within a customer's portfolio.
  • Joint Growth Plans (JGPs): Lead the creation and management of JGPs in partnership with Sales.
  • Top-to-Top Meetings: Drive the preparation and execution of Top-to-Top Customer Meetings and Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Portfolio Penetration: Lead initiatives across Poultry & Prepared by serving as the liaison between Sales and the Business Units (BUs), aligning with BU Sales goals and objectives.
  • Customer-Driven Innovation: Provide guidance on innovation by acting as the customer's advocate during the innovation process, including timeline development, input on prioritization, cuttings approvals, rollouts, and pricing.
  • Risk and Opportunity Management: Capture and update customer risks and opportunities.
  • SOP Meetings: Execute customer-facing SOP meetings internally and externally.
  • Customer Expertise: Serve as the expert on assigned customers and their go-to-market process and guardrails.
  • Customer Prioritization: Manage customer prioritization and segmentation in partnership with BU strategy and Sales.
  • Event Coordination: Coordinate and assist with planning any customer food shows and events.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years.
  • Computer Skills: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Communication Skills: Highly skilled in both written and oral communication.
  • Special Skills: Foodservice experience preferred.
  • Supervisory: N/A
  • Travel: Estimated 3 trips per month.
  • Preferred Location: Corporate World Headquarters – Springdale, AR
