New River Community College is a two-year state institution of higher education operating under a statewide system of 23 community colleges. The college is located on a one-hundred plus acre site at the intersection of U.S. Routes 11 and 100 in Dublin, Virginia. The EMS Adjunct Faculty position is responsible for providing high-quality education and training to students enrolled in the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) programs at the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) level. This role involves delivering didactics instruction as well as instruction focusing on psychomotor skills. The instructor will assess student performance in lab settings, ensuring competency in critical skills and procedures. Additionally, the instructor will prepare and organize instructional materials, foster a positive and engaging learning environment, and contribute to student success through effective communication and mentorship.
Duties:
The instructor must be available and committed to communicating with students throughout the semester to support their success in the course.
