At P&G, we operate one of the largest and most complex SAP implementations in the world—serving as the digital backbone of our global business operations. As an Order Management SAP IT Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting and driving transformative IT solutions across the Latin America (LA) region, with a particular focus on SAP SD and S/4HANA ecosystems.

This role combines strong technical expertise, business process understanding, and project leadership, and offers the opportunity to engage with both global IT teams and local business partners.

Key Responsibilities

Regional IT Leadership (Latin America):

• Manage Order Management-related IT applications and solutions for the Latin America region.
• Provide ongoing support for existing Order Management programs, including hands-on code review and debugging (primarily ABAP).
• Collaborate closely with regional business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective IT solutions.

Global Project Engagement:

• Participate as a key IT consultant in global project implementations.
• Act as a subject matter expert on SAP Order Management processes, providing input on design and implementation using SAP SD and ABAP.
• Support the transition to the new SAP S/4HANA-based Order Management ecosystem.

Solution Engineering & Operations:

• Deliver high-quality digital solutions in:
  • Order Processing & Orchestration
  • Pricing & Invoicing
  • Reporting
  • Supply Chain Restructuring
  • Recycling Administration & Aftersales
• Own end-to-end accountability for solution engineering, from design to deployment and support.
• Provide Level 3 (L3) support for critical incidents and problem management when required.

Governance & Quality Assurance:

• Drive technical roadmap and backlog execution through Agile teams (internal or 3rd party).
• Ensure solution compliance with internal controls, security, and stewardship requirements.
• Approve product changes, conduct quality assurance, and promote test automation.

Job Qualifications

Must-Have:

• Strong experience with SAP SD (Sales & Distribution).
• Proficiency in SAP ABAP development.
• Familiarity with SCRUM and Agile project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice-to-Have:

• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
• Working knowledge of SAP architecture and modern extension capabilities (e.g., SAP BTP).
• Portuguese language skills (spoken and written).
• SAP certification in SD or HANA.
• Experience in supply chain or order management processes in a global business context.
